Gurukul was a residential schooling system during that period and the teacher (guru)  and student (shishya) used to live in the same house or near to each other, it depends on whether the student is young or more than young. Students mainly used to attain gurukul from the age of 8 till the age of their twenties. They are no considerable inequalities were shown to the student and all are considered equal, moreover, the relationship between teacher and student was so sensitive and no fee was taken from the student instead, every student should thank their teachers but giving them guru Dakshina which included either money or the promises which later guru can use it during the good cause. Gurukul was supported by a donation given by the local villagers.

The aim of Vedic education was neutral and was not pointed towards any kind of religious studies and was supported and respected by all religions in India. Gurukul teaches a student about personality development, character formation where the student learns to respect elders and follows a strict schedule for the rest of the life, performance of civic and social duties, practical education, preservation and spread of culture, achieving enlightenment, and by teaching one will able to teach others in future and that leads to cultural preservation and even in during the Mughal reign the Vedic studies stay stood for almost three centuries and no changes were made till that time until the unexpected arrival of British.

Our education system is based on British education policies which mean after 17th-century knowledge is divided into various sections which are good in one perspective but in the same way, it is bad as well. Students are being molded to achieve the least criteria of being capable of employment and to serve the corporate jungle.

From the age of 5 students are provoke and taught to score more marks by parents and teachers which leads to the fact in lack of interest in the actual meaning of gaining knowledge. Indian parents are so in love with the science stream which leads to only JEE or NIIT, every Indian parent living in a myth that engineering and medical is the only successful studies In India, A huge numbers of imagination power was wasted due to this unnecessary belief and also kill the capability of one’s common sense. Indian education avoids teaching important topics like sex education and mental health improvement and that if the student doesn’t know how to calm their chaos when they are upset or confuse in their life it may cause a huge mental disorder to them. Teenage girls can have periods at their young age and every school must aware of their hygienic surrounding and provide sanitary napkins in their washrooms but the budget issue arose in every some so-called private schools even after receiving tons huge amount of money as a donation and even the government schools have a medical room which provides sanitary napkins to their students, the truth is that every private school wants every child to keep their issues out of school premises.

Like all the aspects in our entire universe, everything has its good and some bad quality and so does our education system do, because of the advancement in the system, the illiteracy drops down to a satisfactory level and so the unemployment rate compared to last few decades. The reservation system for the underprivileged people seems very beneficial for their children to gain access to modern education and for the children who are disabled or not able to conduct or attained college, school or university, some highly paid education sectors provide them e-learning concepts and during this pandemic situation some e-learning applications said to be very beneficial for the education society and because of the low cost, it is easy for a middle-class family to afford their subscription packs. The E-learning target the average Indian tendency and change their mind somehow, it is beneficial for children who attained coaching.

India is a country with more than one billion people, and just one-third of them can read. The rapidly growing size of the population, shortages of teachers, books, and basic facilities, and insufficient public funds to cover education costs are some of the nation’s toughest challenges. There are a total of 37% of people in India are living below the poverty level. Since private education is not free, a huge number of people won’t able to afford education for their children but this leads them to one’s child towards child laboring activities. Indeed, so many people wouldn’t able to access primary level education, and due to illiteracy, the common and underprivileged people find admission too much complicated. For those people, there is government school available for free education in India but those are not promising as teachers and the modern education system lacks the facility to provide sufficient education in a mannerly way. Government school teacher lacks external communication and verbal skills. In this 21st century, politics is gone way more dirty to our society and it affects our education system too as they took various benefits through reservation policies for students, for example selling the reserved seats to non-eligible candidates of a wealthy family.

This will goes on and on till the new education policies imply new impacts on the system of our education concepts. The sufferings of millions of students I’ve seen during my journey from primary to secondary education every lecture we’ve been told that education is about scoring marks and not about achieving your dreams, education means sacrificing our dreams to become a corporate slave till your heart fills with diseases and body went corroded.
