Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA)
This program was started in 2001 is the flagship program for the children to get Universal elementary education. This program is mainly useful for children between the ages of six to fourteen.
National Programme for the education of girls at elementary education (NPEGEL)
This program was started in 2003, is the government program to reach girls. This program provides extra support for improving the education of girls. The main aim of this program is to provide good education to the girl at the elementary level.
Mid-Day meal scheme
This scheme was launched in 1995. The other name of this scheme is the national program of nutritional support to primary education. The main aim of this program is to encourage children to attend school regularly and the second aim is to improve the nutritional status of kids.
Right to education act (RTE)
This act was initiate in 2009. This act set some norms that are followed by every elementary school which include no child has to pay any kind of fee and give a fundamental right to every child of age between six and fourteen to get elementary education.
